TOLEDO, Ohio – Fourteen student-athletes from the Toledo softball team earned Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete accolades for their academic accomplishments during the 2024-25 school year, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced on Thursday.

The Rockets posted a team GPA of 3.643 during the 2024-25 school year which ranks within the Top 40 of NCAA Division I programs in the country. Last year, Toledo earned the 13^th-best GPA in the nation with a 3.704 mark.

Sidney Griffith and Kendra VanderLugt earned their fourth-straight Scholar-Athlete recognition, while Madison McKay and Grace O'Malley earn their second honors. The 10 other honorees are first-time recipients of the Easton/NFCA award.
