TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo women's track & field team placed 14 student-athletes on the 2021-22 Indoor Track & Field Academic All-MAC Team, the conference office announced Tuesday.
Sophomore
Krystal Clark led the team with a 4.00 GPA and is majoring in communications. Among the 14 honorees, junior
Jordyn Boyer (3.903), graduate student
Hannah Sponaugle (3.788), senior
Claire Steigerwald (3.329), sophomore
Amanda Tremains (3.555), and juniors Emily (3.941) and
Madeline Vining (3.939) also earned Academic All-MAC honors in cross country.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled on the field of competition and in the classroom. to qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for their sport.
