TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's volleyball team hosted Ohio on Saturday in its final home match of the season, falling in three sets to the Bobcats.
Following the match, the Rockets celebrated Senior Day and honored four student-athletes: Abby Ray, Rhyenne Filisi, Sina Uluave, and Olivia Vance.
One day after sweeping the Bobcats (17-9, 11-4 MAC), Toledo (16-10, 9-6 MAC) found itself on the wrong end of a sweep on Saturday evening. Vance led Toledo offensively with nine kills and a .643 attack percentage, while both Uluave and junior Taylor Alt tallied eight kills. Ray led Toledo with eight digs
The loss puts Toledo in a three-way tie for fourth place in the MAC standings with three matches remaining in the regular season. At 9-6 in MAC play, UT is tied with Buffalo and Central Michigan and one game ahead both Northern Illinois (8-7) and Western Michigan (8-7) in the standings.
