TOLEDO, Ohio - Redshirt freshman quarterback
Tucker Gleason was named Mid-American Conference West Division Offensive Player of the Week by the MAC Office today for his performance in Toledo's 42-35 loss to Bowling Green on Nov. 15.Â
Starting in place of the injured
Dequan Finn, Gleason nearly completed a comeback from a 21-point deficit in the Battle of I-75. Despite suffering a hand injury in the first half, he completed 22-of-40 passes for 329 yards and three TDs. He also rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns on 17 attempts. The 106 rushing yards is tied for 10th-most in a game by a Rocket quarterback.
