TOLEDO, Ohio – Nearing the end of the regular season, the Toledo women's volleyball team heads to Kent State for a pair of matches this weekend. Friday's contest will begin at 6:00 and Saturday's match will start at 4:00 p.m. Both matches will be streamed live on ESPN3.
MAC Tournament Picture
The MAC Tournament will begin on Sunday, Nov. 20 and be hosted by the regular season champion. The top six teams advance to the tournament, with the top two teams receiving first-round byes.
Entering play this weekend, here are the teams still in the hunt for a spot in the conference tournament:

Toledo is in a three-way tie with Buffalo and Central Michigan for fourth place in the MAC, but owns the three-way tiebreak over both teams via its cumulative record (2-1). The Rockets end their regular season on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at Ball State.
Last Time Out
Toledo went 1-1 last weekend, defeating Ohio on Friday before falling to the Bobcats on Saturday.
The Rockets dominated Friday's match, holding Ohio to a .019 attack percentage while hitting .304. Toledo won the first set 25-19 and the second set 25-17 before cruising to a 25-11 triumph in the third set to complete the sweep.
Taylor Alt tallied 10 kills on Friday, leading all players.
Rhyenne Filisi and
Sina Uluave and
Jada Bouyer all tallied at least six kills and hit at least .350, and
Olivia Vance added six terminations as well.
One day after sweeping the Bobcats, Toledo found itself on the wrong end of a sweep on Saturday evening. Vance led Toledo offensively with nine kills and a .643 attack percentage, while both Uluave and Alt tallied eight kills. Ray led Toledo with eight digs.
