TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's basketball team will be holding an intrasquad scrimmage on Saturday, Oct. 15 prior to the football team's game at 3:30 p.m. vs. Kent State. The team will practice from 11:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. before holding their scrimmage from 12:00-1:00 p.m.

To attend the practice, fans should park in Lot 1 or Lot 2.
Toledo's 2022-23 season gets underway on Saturday, Oct. 22 in Savage Arena with an exhibition game against Hillsdale College. The Rockets will then play at Findlay University on Sunday, Oct. 30 in a second exhibition contest.

Toledo opens its regular season at home vs. Missouri Valley Conference foe Valparaiso on Monday, Nov. 7 at 7:00 p.m.

Tod Kowalczyk has guided the Rockets to six 20-win campaigns in the last nine years. Toledo captured it second-straight outright MAC title last year by posting an overall record of 26-8 with a school-record 17-3 mark in league play. In addition, Toledo earned its 11
th all-time NIT berth.

RayJ Dennis (12.7 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 4.1 apg) and sophomoreÂ
Ra'Heim Moss (8.8 ppg, 5.7 rpg) are returning starters in the backcourt. The Rockets also have added three transfers with guards
Tyler Cochran (Ball State) and
Dante Maddox (Cal. State Fullerton) and forward Andre Lorentsson (Saint Louis).
