Toledo Looks to Continue Unbeaten Streak Thursday at Oakland

TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo Rockets women's soccer team will return to the road this week, traveling to face Oakland on Thursday at 7 p.m.

At 2-0-2, the Rockets enter the week in the midst of their longest unbeaten streak to start a season since 1997 when the team began 4-0-0.

Going Against The Grizzlies
The Rockets will be Oakland's second consecutive Mid-American Conference opponent. The Grizzlies are coming off a 6-0 loss to Bowling Green last week and enter the game against Toledo with a 1-2 record. The lone win for Oakland came against Stetson in a 2-1 final. The Grizzlies also faced Western Michigan prior to the start of the season in an exhibition game that ended 3-0 in favor of Oakland. Toledo has won four straight games against Oakland, with the Grizzlies' last win in the series coming in 2006.

Pool Sets Career-High
Sophomore Ellie Pool had a career day against Detroit Mercy last week. Pool was able to score a goal in each half, tallying the Rocket's first and fourth goals. The pair of scores marked Pool's first multiple-goal game of her career. She also added an assist to her stat line, accounting for a career-high five points in the game.

Dault Goes Two-For-Two
Freshman midfielder Olivia Dault made her presence known this past week. Against Detroit Mercy, Dault scored the Rockets' third goal of the game, her first of her career. She then followed it up with the game-winning goal in the 1-0 final against Dayton. With the pair of goals, Dault is tied for the team lead with Ellie Pool.

Continuing to Stand Strong
After beginning the season with a shutout against Purdue Fort Wayne, Emma Boutorwick continued the trend against Dayton, tallying her second shutout of the season through just four games. Boutorwick also tallied five saves in both games for the Rockets last week, moving her record to 2-0-2 in goal this year.
