TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo women's basketball team hosts Eastern Michigan on Saturday in its final game of the 2020-21 season. The Rockets (11-12, 7-12 MAC) and Eagles (10-8, 7-6 MAC) will tip off at 2:00 p.m. at Savage Arena, and the game will be also be available on ESPN3.
Last Time Out
Toledo defeated Western Michigan on the road, 82-73 on Wednesday thanks in large part to
Quinesha Lockett's 30 points and career-high nine rebounds. Lockett was 13-of-17 from the floor, helping her reach the 30-point plateau for the third time this season.
The Rockets led by 13 at the end of the first quarter off the strength of their shooting, making 75 percent of its shots in the first frame. The Toledo lead stayed above 10 for nearly the entire game, until a late WMU run cut the lead to five. The Rockets were able to knock down late shots and

The Rockets tied a season-high by shooting 49.2 percent from the floor (31-63) and made a season-high 46.4 percent of their three-point field goals in the win.

Last Meeting with EMU
Sophia Wiard scored 16 points and grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds but it wasn't enough for Toledo in a 69-59 loss at Eastern Michigan on Sunday, Feb. 21.
The Rockets held a 12-7 lead after one quarter of play and were only down 31-30 at halftime but were playing catch-up most the second half. Toledo cut the lead to 60-56 with just over two minutes to play but missed its final five shots from the floor while Eastern Michigan made 7-of-8 free throws down the stretch to seal the win.
Rockets Announce Virtual Sellout for March 6 game vs. EMU
The University of Toledo men's and women's basketball teams announced that they will host a Toledo Basketball Virtual Sellout for the final home games of the regular season. The men's home finale is on Friday, March 5 vs. Ball State, while the women end their regular season on Saturday, March 6 vs. Eastern Michigan.
The Toledo Basketball Virtual Sellout is an initiative to support our Rockets and give them the opportunity to see our incredible fan base come together and support them like they would have (in person) in a normal season without the COVID-19 pandemic. Fans have the opportunity to purchase a seat, an entire row, an entire section or a courtside seat in Savage Arena for one or both games, and also take advantage of several special promotions.
