TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo women's volleyball team visits arch-rival Bowling Green on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. The match will be streamed live on ESPN+.
The two teams met last week in Savage Arena with the Falcons winning in four sets over the Rockets.
Last Time Out
Toledo hosted Buffalo in its final two home matches over the weekend and came away with two victories.
On Friday, Toledo lost a long third set and a close fourth set after taking a 2-0 lead to unexpectedly find itself in a decisive fifth frame. The Rockets were able to regroup though, winning the fifth set handily to come away with the victory.
Taylor Alt had 24 kills and 13 digs, including five terminations and one block in the fifth set.
Payton Morman tied a career high with 57 assists, and
Rhyenne Filisi contributed five blocks.
Toledo dominated the first set on Saturday, winning 25-10 to take a 1-0 lead. The Bulls then knotted the match at 1-1 after winning the second stanza. Toledo won a long third set, 27-25, before closing out the match with a fourth-set victory. Alt was terrific again, notching 22 kills and 10 digs.
Chloee Kleespies added 15 kills, five blocks, and hit .433.
Following the match, the Rockets honored five student-athletes during its Senior Day ceremony.

The Falcons enter Tuesday's match with a perfect 18-0 record, having already clinched the regular-season MAC crown. Opponents are hitting just .148 against BGSU, comfortably the best figure in the MAC, and they hit. 236 as a team which is the third-best mark in the conference. Katie Kidwell (.337 ATK%), Katelyn Meyer (3.86 kills/set), Hanna Laube (11.42 assists/set), and Julia Walz (0.37 aces/set, 4.76 digs/set) rank among the leaders in the league in their respective statistical categories.
