TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo men's basketball team (16-5, 11-2 MAC) returns from a week-long break when it hosts arch-rival Bowling Green (10-9, 6-7 MAC) on Saturday, Feb. 13. Tip-off time in Savage Arena is set for 2:00 p.m. with streaming on ESPN3.
       The Rockets currently sit one-and-a-half games in front of Akron (11-4, 9-3 MAC) in the Mid-American Conference standings. The Zips are scheduled to play at Miami on Friday.
       Toledo was slated to travel to Northern Illinois on Tuesday and is looking to bounce back from last Saturday's 81-67 defeat at Ball State. The Rockets registered season lows in both field-goal percentage (32.8) and three-point FG% (21.9), while the Cardinals shot 40.3 percent from the field and 15-of-37 (40.5 percent) from three-point range.

       Bowling Green has dropped seven of its last eight decisions since opening league play with a 5-0 mark. Senior Justin Turner ranks third in the MAC with 20.1 ppg and fourth with 5.0 apg. Senior Daeqwon Plowden is second in team scoring with 12.8 ppg and fourth in the MAC with 7.8 rpg.
       Toledo downed the Falcons by an 84-66 margin on Jan. 30 in the Stroh Center. Six Rockets scored in double figures in the win with Littleson tallying a team-high 19 points.

Shumate, whose sister Katie is a sophomore guard at Kent State, transferred to Toledo from Division II Walsh University last spring and received immediate eligibility in mid-December.
• Shumate ranks among the MAC leaders in three categories in league play. He is tied for second with 1.6 bpg and third with a 64.8 FG% and a 52.2 three-point FG%. He blocked four shots against Ohio (Jan. 8) and CMU (Jan. 19).

Mattia Acunzo tallied 10 points and a season-high seven boards at Bowling Green (Jan. 30). Acunzo, who tallied a season-high 15 points vs. NIU (Dec. 22), ranks second on the team with a 53.8 FG% and is 13-of-29 (.448) from three-point range.
