Toledo Ranks Eighth Nationally in Easton/NFCA GPA Rankings

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Toledo ranked eighth in the nation among the 2021 Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) NCAA Division I teams with a 3.708 grade point average. The Rockets also had 25 players who earned NFCA Scholar-Athlete status.

Over 8,800 student-athletes were named 2021 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes.

Stanford University (3.846) squad was the top NCAA Division I program followed by Southern Illinois (3.801), Green Bay (3.794), Michigan State (3.784) and Maine (3.774).
 
The rankings and honors recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the Association's membership categories. NCAA Division III led the way with 2,375 student-athletes earning a 3.5 grade-point average or higher for 2020-21. NCAA Division I and Division II followed with 1,982 and 1,727 honorees, respectively.
