TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo women's volleyball team (15-5, 6-2 MAC) will visit MAC West foe Ball State (17-3, 7-1 MAC) on Tuesday evening in a battle of two of the league's best teams.
Tuesday's match will begin at 6:30 and can be seen on ESPN+. Toledo has won six of its last seven matches, while Ball State brings a seven-match winning streak into tomorrow's match.
Last Time Out
Toledo split its weekend series with Western Michigan, dropping Friday's match in five sets before coming back to win in four sets on Saturday.
On Saturday, Toledo won the first two sets over WMU, but the Broncos won the third set and held a 21-17 lead in the fourth frame. Toledo didn't back down, instead scoring the next eight points to storm back and win, 25-21, to cap its weekend with a victory.
Taylor Alt had 21 kills and 14 digs in the win, her seventh double-double of the year.
Elaine Redman filled up the box score, tying her season-high with 48 assists while collecting four kills, three blocks, and three aces.
Sina Uluave had 15 kills and 15 digs, her fifth double-double on the year.
Abby Erickson had seven kills and three blocks, while
Rhyenne Filisi registered nine terminations and four blocks.
