TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's basketball team will host Western Michigan in first-round action of the Mid-American Conference Tournament on Monday, March 9 at Savage Arena.

Toledo (16-15, 8-10 MAC) is the No. 7 seed in the tournament while Western Michigan (13-18, 6-12 MAC) is the No. 10 seed.

Game time for Monday's contest is dependent on the outcome of the Toledo women's basketball regular-season finale vs. Northern Illinois at Savage Arena tomorrow. If the women host a first-round game, that game would be played Monday at 5:30 p.m. with the men's game to follow at 8:00 p.m. If there is only a men's game, it would be played at 7:00 p.m.

Men's basketball season ticket members have a ticket for Monday's game included in their season ticket package. All others may purchase their tickets online at UTRockets.com/tix, by phone at 419-530-GOLD (4653) or at the Rocket Ticket Office in Savage Arena. Tickets may also be purchased at the door. UToledo students will be admitted free with their student I.D.

Parking for Monday's game(s) will follow regular-season procedures. If there is a doubleheader, those holding "A" parking passes may park in Parking Areas 3, 4, 5, 6, 10 and 18. Following Monday's first-round games, the MAC Tournament moves to Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland (March 11-14). Rocket fans may reserve their seats for all games in Cleveland and pick their tickets up at Will Call at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. The women's tournament begins with the quarterfinals on Wednesday, March 11. The men's quarterfinals start on Thursday, March 12. Both sets of semifinals are on Friday, March 13 with the finals on Saturday, March 14.

Tickets can be purchased online at UTRocketstix.com, by phone at 419.530.GOLD or by visiting the Rocket Ticket Office in Savage Arena. Only tickets purchased through the University of Toledo will be in the Rocket section of Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. Fans will be billed for tickets only if the Rockets advance and can be picked up at the Toledo Will Call table in the outer lobby of the arena.
 
The UToledo Alumni Office will be hosting a pregame party before every men's and women's game in Cleveland. All pre-game parties will begin two hours prior to tip-off of the Rockets' games and will be held at Harry Buffalo (2120 East 4th Street, Cleveland, OH 44115) just across the street from Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
