12/8/2020 2:40:00 PM

TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo men's basketball team (3-2, 1-0 MAC) will travel to Ann Arbor, Mich. on Wednesday, Dec. 9 for a non-conference contest against the Michigan Wolverines (4-0) in the Crisler Center. The contest will be televised nationally on FS1 with a tip-off time of 6:00 p.m. The addition of the game to the Rockets' schedule was announced today and is a result of Michigan's scheduled contest vs. North Carolina State being postponed due to COVID-19 related concerns within the Wolfpack program.

Toledo is facing the Wolverines for the 22nd time in program history, with the two programs' first meeting coming in 1919. The last time the Rockets played Michigan resulted in a 55-52 setback in Ann Arbor on Nov. 26, 1983.

Toledo has featured a balanced attack to date with senior Marreon Jackson leading the way at 16.0 ppg. Also scoring in double figures are junior Setric Millner Jr. (15.8), freshman Ryan Rollins (15.0) and senior Spencer Littleson (12.8). All four have led the Rockets in scoring this season.

Millner is grabbing a team-high 8.4 rpg, while Jackson is tallying a team-best 5.8 apg and 1.6 spg. Littleson leads the Rockets with 18 three-point field goals and a 48.6 3PTFG%.

Jackson was one of five Rockets scoring in double digits in their last outing at EMU on Friday, tallying a season-high 20 points. The Rockets shot 50.8 percent from the field against the Eagles, including a red-hot 57.1 mark in the second half. Toledo also knocked down 11-of-31 three-point attempts (35.5 percent) and 18-of-25 free throws (72.0 percent). EMU rallied to within two points, 66-64, before Littleson knocked down a three-pointer with 8:02 remaining to ignite a 9-0 Toledo spurt that put the game away.
