"The team is excited to kick things off at Duke," Head Coach Jeff Roope said. "The Rod Myers Invitational has a great reputation and we are grateful be a part of the field. With schools like Wake Forest, North Carolina, Louisville and host Duke in the field it will be a great way to jump right into our season."
Roope said his Rockets are familiar playing in tournaments filled with talented golfers and is looking forward to see how they match up.
"For most of our guys, it'll be a continuation of the challenging schedules they played during the summer," Roope said. "It's a chance to once again compete with some of the best amateurs in the world and continue our growth as a program."
