Toledo Sits in 12th After Day One of Rod Myers Invitational

DURHAM, N.C. – The Toledo men's golf team sits in 12th place following Saturday's first two rounds of the Rod Myers Invitational. The tournament is being hosted by No. 12 Duke at the par-72, 7,154 Duke University Golf Club and includes five teams that participated in the 2019 NCAA Championships.
Senior Nate Thomson paced the Rockets today with a five-over par 149 (76-73) and is tied for 39th place. Senior Rasmus Broholt Lind (T-46th/78-72) was one behind Thomson at six-over par 150, while Grant Godfrey (T-51st/78-73) was another shot back at seven-over par 151.
Rounding out the Toledo lineup were sophomore Muhammed Afif Mohd Fathi in 72nd place at 15-over par 159 (82-77) and freshman Jack Doody in 74th place at 23-over par 167 (84-83).
The final round of the tournament will be held tomorrow.
