Last Time Out
Toledo is coming off the UCF Invitational where the Rockets went 2-3, taking two wins over Dartmouth while going toe-to-toe with defending national champion Florida State and holding UCF to one hit until the eighth inning. The Rockets opened with an 8-0 loss to Louisiana Tech, fell 2-1 to UCF, won 5-4 over Dartmouth, fell 5-4 to FSU, then won 4-3 in a rematch against Dartmouth.

Toledo was led in the circle by sophomore pitcher Erin Hunt who was a dominant force all weekend. Through 17 innings of work (two starts, one relief), Hunt tossed 17 strikeouts, bagged a 4-3 win over Ivy League runner-up selection Dartmouth, helped Toledo go down to the wire with No. 1 FSU, and almost shut out UCF.

In UT's game against the Seminoles, Toledo became one of only five teams this season to score at least four runs against the defending national champs and held FSU to its smallest margin of victory up to that point in the year.

In UT's game against UCF, Hunt didn't give up a single run until the eighth inning when, with two outs on the board, an error allowed the Knights to bring one in to tie the game and set up a walkoff single. Up to that point, the Rockets were riding a one-hit potential shutout and were set to win after scoring a run in the top of the eighth.

Hunt's tournament-closing win against Dartmouth featured the Division II transfer throwing 10 strikeouts through 140 pitches to move her to 4-3 on the year.
