TOLEDO, Ohio — After spending the last two weekends on the road, the University of Toledo women's volleyball team returns to Savage Arena this weekend for a pair of matches. The Rockets host Bowling Green on Friday and Miami on Saturday.
Friday's match against the Falcons will be a White Out; fans are encouraged to wear white if they plan on attending. The Toledo cheerleaders will also be hosting a kids clinic. Registration for the clinic begins at 5:00 p.m. and the clinic will run from 5:30-7:30 p.m., culminating with a performance between the second and third sets of the volleyball match. Fans attending Saturday's match against the RedHawks can receive free admission when presenting their ticket stub from the Rockets' football game against Eastern Michigan Saturday afternoon.

Last Time Out
Toledo faced MAC East foes Kent State and Ohio last weekend, dropping both matches.
Against the Golden Flashes, the Rockets won the second and third sets to take a 2-1 lead in the match, but dropped the fourth and decisive fifth frames to end up on the wrong end of a five set decision. Rhyen Neal led the team with a career-high 29 digs and five service aces. Four Rockets reached double figures in kills: Ryann Jaqua (12), Zoe Birnbrich (11), Chloee Kleespies (10), and Emma Swope (10).
Toledo was swept by the Bobcats last Saturday. Two players had a team-high seven kills for the Rockets – Swope and Olivia Vance. Jaqua and Neal tied for the team lead with 11 digs.

Scouting the Opponents
Bowling Green: Toledo's I-75 rival sits at 11-9 on the season with a 5-3 mark in conference play. The Falcons are hitting .220 as a team, third-best in the MAC, and their 17.9 digs/set rank second in the league. Individually, Katie Kidwell is second in the conference with 1.13 blocks/set and Julia Walz is also second in digs/set (5.44).
Miami: The RedHawks are 11-8 coming into the weekend and 6-2 in league matches. They'll visit Ball State on Friday night before making the trip to the Glass City for Saturday's match. Miami has won four in a row, including a five-set victory over Central Michigan last Saturday that snapped CMU's 12-match winning streak. Gaby Harper (2.81 kills/set) and Margaret Payne (0.88 blocks/set, .324 hitting%) lead the way individually for Miami.
