Toledo, Ohio- Senior Luka Vitosevic was named Mid-American Conference Men's Tennis Singles Player of the Week on Wednesday. 

The Belgrade, Serbia native scored the Rocket's lone point against Big-10 contender Purdue on Saturday, defeating Maksymilian Raupuk in two sets (6-4, 6-3) at the No. 1 position. 

"Luka is a very diligent athlete with the professional mindset," said UT head coach Al Wermer. "He takes his game and his preparations very seriously. We are very proud of him."

Vitosevic and the Rockets are set to face Wright State on Sunday, Jan. 20 and Dayton on Monday, Jan. 21 at Shadow Valley in Maumee, Ohio.
