      No. 2 seed Toledo (22-10, 13-5 MAC) makes its third Mid-American Conference Tournament semifinal appearance in the last five years when it faces No. 3 seed Eastern Michigan (21-11, 11-7 MAC) tonight in Cleveland's Quicken Loans Arena. A win over the Eagles would put UT in the MAC Championship Game for the sixth time in program history and first time since 2014.       Toledo advanced to the semifinals with a 71-69 victory last night over Miami. Junior
Jaelan Sanford scored 21 points to lead the Rockets' offense. He split a pair of free throws with nine seconds left and then helped force Miami's Nike Sibande into a tough three-point shot in the waning seconds that rimmed out. Senior

Luke Knapke each contributed 16 points with Fletcher adding nine rebounds and four assists.

• UT has received a first-round bye and won 20 or more games in three of the last five years.
• UT possesses a 6-5 win-loss mark against Eastern Michigan in the MAC Tournament. The Rockets and Eagles met in postseason play in 2014, 2015 and 2016 with Toledo winning in 2014 and 2015. UT is 3-0 vs. EMU in games played in Quicken Loans Arena.

Nate Navigato is five points away from becoming the 46th Rocket to score 1,000 career points. Navigato poured in a career-high 28 points last Friday vs. EMU and sank a school MAC record eight three-point field goals in the contest.
• Navigato now has a school-record 90 three-point field goals this season, one more than former Rocket Nick Moore registered in the 2002-03 campaign.

Tod Kowalczyk is one win away from tying Harold Anderson (1934-42) for third place on the Rockets' all-time win list with 142 victories. Bob Nichols (1965-87) holds the record with 376 with Stan Joplin (1996-2008) second with 203.
• The Rockets' 22 victories are tied for sixth most in school history.
• UT has 308 three-point field goals this season, 45 more than the previous record of 263 in 2015-16. The Rockets also have a school-record 124 blocked shots, 16 more than the previous record of 108 in 2014-15.
