Toledo, Ohio – The University of Toledo men's and women's cross country teams are set to travel to Peoria, Ill. for the Bradley Pink Classic on Friday at Newman Golf Course. The women's 6K will start at 3:15 p.m. (CT) with the men's 8K to follow at 4:00 p.m. (CT).
The Rockets last competed in the All-Ohio Championships, where the women's squad clinched first overall. Junior
Athena Welsh claimed the individual crown with a time of 21:01.5, and senior
Jennifer Lichter followed closely behind to secure second (21:24.0). The men's squad placed fifth among the Division-I teams at the All-Ohio Championships, with
Dismas Koech leading the Midnight Blue & Gold with a time of 25:06.0, taking 29th
overall.

Stephanie Sherman secured a 65th-place finish (22:16.6), leading the Rocket women to a 20th-place team finish. The Rocket men's team took 19th overall, with
Josh Oeters and
Brian Stubelt taking 113th (26:37.3) and 124th (26:45.9), respectively.Â
