SETTING THE SCENE
       Toledo (15-6, 7-1 MAC) looks to continue its red-hot play on Tuesday, Jan. 30 when it hosts Mid-American Conference West Division foe Ball State (13-8, 4-4 MAC). The Rockets are on a season-high seven-game winning streak which is their longest unbeaten stretch in league play since Jan. 6-27, 2007. UT is coming off a resounding 101-75 home victory over Bowling Green on Saturday, while the Cardinals snapped a two-game skid by outlasting Akron with a 111-106 (2OT) home win. Tip-off time from Savage Arena is set for 7:00 p.m. with the game being streamed on ESPN3.
       Toledo possesses a three-game lead in the Mid-American Conference's West Division over the Cardinals and Western Michigan (12-9, 4-4 MAC). The Rockets and Buffalo (16-5, 8-0 MAC) are the only two teams in the MAC with less than three defeats.

Tre'Shaun Fletcher nearly registered a triple-double with 26 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists to propel UT to its largest margin of victory ever over its arch-rivals. Toledo was scorching the nets from the field with its 67.2 field-goal percentage (39-of-58), marking its fifth-best ever in a Mid-American Conference contest as well as Savage Arena history. The Rockets also knocked down eight-of-17 three-point shots (47.1 percent) to register their 10th victory in last 11 contests.
