QUICK HITTERS
•   Toledo (17-15, 9-9 MAC) heads to Cleveland, OH to face MAC East Division foe Ohio (19-10, 11-7 MAC) in the quarterfinals of the 2017 Mid-American Conference Tournament presented by VisitMyrtleBeach.com. Tip-off time is set for 6:30 p.m. in Quicken Loans Arena with Spectrum Sports & BCSN televising the contest and streaming available on ESPN3 as well as WatchESPN.
•   The Rockets are the No. 7 seed in this year's tourney, while the Bobcats are the No. 2 seed. The winner of Thursday's matchup will face either No. 3 seed Buffalo or No. 6 seed Kent State in the MAC semifinals on Friday, March 9 at 8:00 p.m.
•   Toledo posted a 79-76 road victory over Ohio on Jan. 24 with senior forward
Steve Taylor, Jr. tallying 25 points and 15 rebounds in the victory. The Rockets shot 53.6 percent form the field in the contest and registered a 35-27 rebounding advantage.
•   UT possesses a 1-4 win-loss mark against Ohio in the MAC Tournament. Three of those defeats came in road games with UT's lone win coming in 1993. In the last postseason matchup between the schools, Ohio defeated Toledo, 65-57, in a 2012 third-round game.
•   UT has won at least one game in each of its trips to Cleveland under Head Coach

•   Since losing three straight games by a total of seven points (Jan. 28-Feb. 4), UT has posted a 6-3 mark and is limiting its opponents to 65.9 ppg and to a 41.0 FG% and 29.4 3PTFG%.
•   Senior
Jonathan Williams led a balanced attack with 18 points in UT's 77-62 first-round win over Bowling Green. Six different Rockets scored eight or more points.
•   Williams ranks third in the MAC with a team-high 19.7 ppg. He also leads UT with an 81.6 FT%, 135 FTs made and 165 FTs attempted and averaged 3.7 apg in league play.
•   Taylor ranks second in team scoring with 15.4 ppg to go along with a MAC-best 12.5 rpg and a team-high 3.8 apg. He is third nationally in rebounding (through March 6) and leads the country with 10.0 defensive rpg (ahead of Purdue's Caleb Swanigan 9.8 mark). In addition, Taylor's 23 double-doubles rank third in the nation.
•   The Rockets have tied a national record with eight overtime games that was previously held by Western Kentucky (1978), Portland (1984) and Valparaiso (1993). UT's previous record for overtime games was five in the 1971-72 campaign.
•   Toledo held a lead of at least seven points at some point in each of its overtime contests and let double-digit second-half leads slip away in half of them.
•   Ohio snapped a two-game losing streak with last Friday's 69-55 home win over Miami. The Bobcats lead the MAC in scoring defense (70.1), FG% defense (41.4) and 3PTFG% defense (31.8), scoring margin (+7.7) and 3PTFG% (39.0).
POST-GAME NOTES FROM UT'S 77-62 FIRST-ROUND VICTORY OVER BOWLING GREEN
•   •The Rockets are 4-1 vs. Bowling Green in MAC Tournament play and have won seven of their last eight overall meetings vs. the Falcons.
•   UT's 12 home victories are its second most in the past 11 years, trailing only 2013-14 (15).
•   The Rockets improved to 13-7 when leading at halftime and 15-4 when holding a lead with five minutes remaining.
•   Toledo is 9-1 when holding its opponent under 70 points.
•   UT won for just the third time in 13 contests this season when shooting under 45 percent from the field and the third time in 15 games when being outshot by its opponent.
•   The Rockets have outrebounded their opponent in nine of their last 10 games and have a plus-9.7 rebounding margin in their last six contests.
•   Toledo won for just the fifth time on 14 occasions this season when three or fewer Rockets scored in double digits. UT also won at Eastern Michigan on March 3 with this scenario.

Jonathan Williams has 1,739 career points, 75 points away from moving into fourth place on the Rockets' all-time scoring list.
•   Senior Steve Taylor Jr. increased his school record rebounding total to 386 this season. Taylor's total surpasses the 371 boards grabbed by Doug Hess, who averaged 15.5 rpg in the 1969-70 campaign. Taylor's 13.2 rpg in conference play ranks fourth in school history, trailing only Hess (14.9/1969-70), Ray Wolford (14.5/1962-63) and Bob Aston (13.8/1965-66).
•   Taylor also tied his season low with just five field-goal attempts.
•   Senior
Jordan Lauf collected eight rebounds, marking the 10th straight contest he has grabbed seven or more boards.
•   Lauf also tied the UT's school record for games played held by Juice Brown (2011-15) with 131. Williams ranks third in school history with 130.
•   Redshirt freshman
Luke Knapke tied his season high for a second-straight game with three blocked shots. He also tallied 12 points and seven boards in both home games vs. BGSU.
TAYLOR, WILLIAMS EARNS ALL-MAC HONORS
   Senior Steve Taylor Jr. earned second-team All-MAC honors, while senior
Jonathan Williams received third-team All-MAC accolades for a second-straight year. The All-MAC Teams were the results of voting by the league's head coaches. The Rockets' two All-MAC honorees in the 2016-17 campaign marks the fifth straight season UT has had at least two members of the all-league squad.
BRACKET BREAKDOWN
   The Rockets have tallied a 3-1 (.750) ledger against the remaining three teams that appear in the lower half of the 2017 MAC Tournament bracket. Toledo defeated No. 2 seed Ohio, 79-76, on the road and No. 3 Buffalo, 86-54, at home. UT split a pair of matchups vs. No. 6 seed Kent State, dropping an 85-61 road decision before posting a 78-58 triumph in Savage Arena.
