QUICK HITTERS
•  Toledo (6-5) looks to build on Wednesday's dominating 83-57 win over Jackson State when it visits Horizon League foe Cleveland State (3-8) on Saturday, Dec. 23 at 2:00 p.m. The contest will be streamed live on ESPN3. Following Saturday's contest, the Rockets will take a few days off for the holidays before returning to action on Friday, Dec. 29 for their non-conference finale at Penn (8-4).
•  UT registered its biggest margin of victory this season with its 26-point win over Jackson State. The Rockets limited the Tigers to a pair of opponent season lows - 57 points and a 32.8 field-goal percentage.
•  Sophomore center
Luke Knapke and junior forward
Nate Navigato each scored a team-high 16 points to pace a balanced UT attack that saw 11 different Rockets find the scoring column. Navigato, who knocked down five of six field-goal attempts, also spurred the Rockets to a 42-31 advantage on the boards with a career-high 10 rebounds to register his first double-double as a collegian.
•  Senior guard
Tre'Shaun Fletcher is the lone individual to appear in the Mid-American Conference's Top 10 in points, rebounds and assists with 18.9 ppg (6th), 9.6 rpg (2nd) and 3.9 apg (T-7th).
•  Joining Fletcher among the MAC scoring leaders are junior guard
Jaelan Sanford, Navigato and Knapke with 15.3 ppg (15th), 14.4 ppg (T-19th) and 11.6 ppg (27th), respectively.
•  Knapke ranks second in the MAC with 1.7 bpg and is 10th in the league with a 54.3 field-goal percentage. He also is tied for 13th with 6.5 rpg. Freshman guard
Marreon Jackson ranks third in the MAC with a 43.9 3PTFG% and Navigato is second with 3.2 treys per contest.
•  Jackson and sophomore forward
Willie Jackson are both Cleveland natives and helped Garfield Heights High School to a pair of Division I state semifinal appearances.
•  As a team, Toledo is second in the MAC with its 9.6 three-point field goals per game and third with 3.9 bpg, 15.4 apg and a 37.7 three-point FG%.
•  Cleveland State will be playing its third game in five days on Saturday. The Vikings dropped a 79-77 decison at Niagara on Tuesday before falling at No. 20 Cincinnati by an 81-62 margin on Thursday. CSU possesses a 3-1 mark on its home floor and is winless in three contests vs. MAC foes (67-57 at Akron, 72-62 at KSU, 78-67 at WMU) this season.
•  Senior guard Kenny Carpenter leads Cleveland State in scoring at 14.2 ppg with freshman guard Tyree Appleby also scoring in double digits at 11.4 ppg.
POST-GAME NOTES FROM TOLEDO'S 83-57 WIN OVER JACKSON STATE
• UT has knocked down 10 or more three-point shots in seven of its last eight games.
• Jackson State's 57 points and 32.8 FG% were season lows by a Rocket opponent.
• Toledo's 27 free throws made and 34 free throws attempted were season highs.
• Toledo is undefeated in six outings this season when outshooting its opponent from the field.
• Junior forward
Nate Navigato registered his first career double-double with 16 points and a career-high 10 rebounds. He made his first five shots (including four treys) before missing a three-point shot with 2:06 to play.
• UT tallied a season-high 39 bench points.
Luke Knapke led the way with 16 points, while

Justin Roberts and
Dylan Alderson each added seven, seven and six points, respectively.

ON THE HORIZON
        Toledo will play its final non-conference contest on Friday, Dec. 29 at Penn (8-4), the second Ivy League foe the Rockets will face this season. UT opens Mid-American Conference play on Tuesday, Jan. 2 at Buffalo (8-4). The contest will tip off at 7:00 p.m. and be televised nationally by the CBS Sports Network.
