QUICK HITTERS
•  Toledo (5-5) looks to get back on the winning track when it hosts Southwestern Athletic Conference foe Jackson State (3-8) on Wednesday, Dec. 20 at 7:00 p.m. The contest will be streamed live on ESPN3. Following Wednesday's contest, the Rockets will visit Cleveland State on Saturday, Dec. 23 before taking a few days off for the holidays.
•  UT has dropped its last two contests with both coming inside the friendly confines of Savage Arena. Marshall registered a 93-87 victory over UT on Dec. 9, and Wright State followed that up with a 77-69 triumph last Saturday. Junior forward
Nate Navigato topped the Rockets offensively vs. WSU with 16 points, while senior guard
Tre'Shaun Fletcher tallied 15 points, 10 rebounds and a career-high five steals for his sixth double-double.
•  Toledo didn't trail against the Raiders until early in the second half, when WSU put together a 16-2 run that resulted in a 10-point advantage UT couldn't overcome.
•  Fletcher is the lone individual to appear in the Mid-American Conference's Top 10 in points, rebounds and assists with 18.9 ppg (5th), 9.6 rpg (2nd) and 3.9 apg (T-8th).
•  Joining Fletcher among the MAC scoring leaders are junior guard
Jaelan Sanford, Navigato and sophomore center
Luke Knapke with 15.3 ppg (13th), 14.4 ppg (T-16th) and 11.6 ppg (27th), respectively.
•  Knapke ranks second in the MAC with 1.9 bpg and is tied for 11th in the league with 6.8 rpg. He also is 13th with a 52.9 field-goal percentage. Freshman guard
Marreon Jackson ranks second in the MAC with a 48.6 3PTFG% and Navigato is tied for third with 3.1 treys per contest.
•  As a team, Toledo is tied for first in the MAC with its 9.6 three-point field goals per game and second with 4.0 bpg. The Rockets are also third in the conference with 15.3 apg and a 37.6 three-point FG% and rank fourth with a 73.5 free-throw percentage.
•  Jackson State has been idle since a 69-51 setback at Southern Illinois on Dec. 13 and will play at Ball State on Friday, Dec. 22 after facing the Rockets. The Tigers are winless in seven road contests this season, including a 70-63 defeat at UT's fellow MAC counterpart Central Michigan on Dec. 1. JSU ranks 11th nationally with 14.3 offensive rebounds per game and is 15th with a plus-5.1 turnover margin.
• Senior guard Chace Franklin leads Jackson State in scoring at 13.8 ppg but hasn't played since twisting an ankle at Louisiana Tech on Dec. 9. Junior forward Maurice Rivers and senior guard Paris Collins are also averaging in double digits with 12.9 ppg and 10.7 ppg, respectively.
