•  Toledo (9-6, 2-0 MAC) looks to extend its season-high five-game winning streak on Tuesday, Jan. 10 when it travels to Kalamazoo, MI to face MAC West Division rival Western Michigan (4-10, 0-2 MAC). Tip-off time from University Arena is set for 7:00 p.m. with the game being streamed on ESPN3.
•  The Rockets have opened their conference campaign with a pair of convincing home victories over East Division foes Buffalo (88-56) and Miami (91-76). In Saturday's win over the RedHawks, senior guard
Jonathan Williams led UT in scoring for a seventh-consecutive contest with 25 points.
•  UT is 2-0 in league play for the first time since the 2012-13 campaign. The last time Toledo opened MAC play with three or more wins was in the 2006-07 campaign.
•  Williams ranks second in the MAC with 20.6 ppg and possesses a 47.4 FG%, a 41.6 3PFTG% and a 79.3 FT%. He has posted a career-high eight straight 20-point outings and is averaging 24.5 ppg with a 52.8 FG% and 45.3 3PTFG% (24-of-53) during this hot stretch.
•  Senior forward Steve Taylor, Jr. ranks second on the team in scoring with 15.1 ppg to go along with a MAC-best 11.8 rpg and a team-high 3.8 apg. He ranks fourth nationally with 11.8 rpg (through Jan. 7) and leads the country with 9.9 defensive rpg. In addition, Taylor's 11 double-doubles are tied for fourth in the nation.
•  Sophomore guard
Jaelan Sanford, who has scored in double digits in seven of his last eight contests, is averaging 14.2 ppg and leads the team with 34.7 mpg.
•  Williams and Sanford rank among the MAC's top three scorers following the first two games of league play. Williams leads the way with 25.5 ppg, while Sanford is tied with CMU's Braylon Rayson at 22.0 ppg.
•  The Rockets have tied a school record (set in the 1971-72 campaign) with a nation-high five overtime games this season. UT has a 2-3 win-loss mark in its OT contests with wins over Youngstown State (Nov. 15) and Evansville (Nov. 25) and losses against Middle Tennessee (Nov. 26), Green Bay (Dec. 3) and Marshall (Dec. 10).
•  Toledo's five overtime games are tied for the national lead with Indiana State and are one more than Cal. State-Fullerton, Eastern Kentucky and Eastern Washington.
•  The Broncos dropped their first two league games with setbacks at Ohio (89-58) and Akron (66-59 and are 4-1 on their homecourt. Two of WMU's losses have come to defending national champion Villanova and No. 2 UCLA.
•  Junior guard Thomas Wilder ranks ninth in the MAC with a team-high 16.3 points per game and also ranks fourth with a 46.2 three-point field-goal mark.

POST-GAME NOTES FROM UT'S 91-76 VICTORY OVER MIAMI
•  Toledo's five-game win streak is its longest since winning six in a row from Jan. 24-Feb. 10, 2015.
•  Toledo is 7-1 in Savage Arena this season, marking its best home start since posting a 15-0 ledger in 2013-14. Since the start of the 2013-14 campaign, UT holds a 42-12 (.778) mark in Savage Arena.
