QUICK HITTERS
•  Toledo (10-8, 3-2 MAC) continues a stretch of playing six of eight games on the road when it travels to Kent State (9-9, 1-4 MAC) at the M.A.C. Center (6,327) on Saturday, Jan. 21. Tip-off time for the first of two meetings between the schools this season is set for 7:00 p.m. and will follow the UT-KSU women's contest that tips off at 4:00 p.m. The game will be televised on BCSN and Spectrum Sports and streamed on ESPN3.
•  The Rockets posted an 82-67 road win over the Golden Flashes last year thanks to a red-hot 63.2 field-goal percentage (12-of-19) from behind the three-point arc. UT enters Saturday's game following an 85-73 over arch-rival Bowling Green on Tuesday.
•  Sophomore forward
Nate Navigato posted career highs in points (22), assists (7) and minutes (37) against the Falcons and buried six of eight three-point attempts.
•  Senior guard
Jonathan Williams ranks second in the MAC with a team-high 21.0 ppg and possesses a 46.2 FG%, a 37.3 3PFTG% and a team-high 80.2 FT%.
•  Senior forward Steve Taylor, Jr. ranks second on the team in scoring with 15.0 ppg to go along with a MAC-best 11.9 rpg and a team-high 3.7 apg. He ranks fifth nationally with 11.9 rpg (through Jan. 17) and is second in the country with 9.6 defensive rpg. In addition, Taylor's 14 double-doubles rank third in the nation.
•  Sophomore guard
Jaelan Sanford is also a double-digit scorer for the Rockets with 13.8 ppg and is playing a team-high 34.8 mpg. In MAC play, Sanford is averaging 15.8 ppg and a team-high 4.0 apg.
•  As a team, Toledo ranks second in the MAC with 82.6 ppg, a 48.1 FG% and a 1.17 A/TO ratio. UT leads the MAC in league play with 18.6 apg and a 1.69 A/TO ratio.
•  The Rockets have tied a school record (set in the 1971-72 campaign) with a nation-high five overtime games this season. UT has a 2-3 win-loss mark in its OT contests with wins over Youngstown State (Nov. 15) and Evansville (Nov. 25) and losses against Middle Tennessee (Nov. 26), Green Bay (Dec. 3) and Marshall (Dec. 10).
•  Toledo's five overtime games are tied for the national lead with Indiana State.
•  Kent State enters Saturday's game with a four-game losing streak after opening conference play with a 100-90 home win over Ball State. The Golden Flashes lead the MAC with a plus-7.6 rebounding margin and 16.8 offensive boards per game.
•  Senior forward Jimmy Hall tops KSU with 17.6 ppg, 10.9 rpg, 2.5 apg and 1.0 bpg. Sophomore guard Jaylin Walker (14.9) and senior guard Deon Edwin (12.3) are also scoring in double digits.
ON THE HORIZON
       Following Saturday's contest, UT will visit Ohio (11-5, 3-2 MAC) on Tuesday, Jan. 24 before hosting Northern Illinois (12-6, 4-1 MAC) on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 2:00 p.m. in the first game of a doubleheader.
