Saige Thomas paced Toledo with 17 kills and registered a .394 ATK% to lead the Rockets to a 3-0 sweep over Central Michigan. UT improves to 8-6 overall and 1-1 in the Mid-American Conference. CMU drops to 6-8 on the season and 0-2 in the league.

The Rockets opened the match aggressively and out-hit the Chippewas .212-0.81 en route to a 25-19 victory.

CMU jumped out in front in Set 2 but the lead changed hands midway through the frame. Toledo claimed a 25-21 win with the help of an outstanding .424 hitting percentage as a team. Thomas registered an impressive eight kills in the frame.

The Midnight Blue & Gold continued its domination into the final frame and claimed the set, 25-11. UT out-blocked the Chippewas, 9-1, and posted a .500 ATK%.

The Rockets return to MAC action next Thursday, Sept. 29. UT will battle Ball State in Muncie, IN.
