TOLEDO, OH – Toledo will host Mid-American Conference foe Ball State in its last regular-season series on Friday-Saturday, May 6-7 at Scott Park. Friday's contest will begin at 3:00 p.m., while Saturday's twinbill is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m. Saturday will also be senior day for
Marla Gooding,
Jessica Lemieux and
Sammy Emery. The three-member senior class will be honored in between games.

Toledo (18-31, 9-11) is coming off of an exciting three-game sweep of MAC West leader Northern Illinois. The Midnight Blue and Gold has reached a ten-game win streak; the longest winning streak the program has seen since 1993.

Ball State enters the weekend with a 22-19 overall record and 8-13 mark in the MAC. The Cardinals are also coming off of a three-game sweep as they defeated Western Michigan last weekend. Emily Dabkowski is one of BSU's top offensive threats this season. She has recorded a .315 batting average after notching 10 doubles, four triples, three home runs and 39 RBI. Last week, Dabkowski was named the MAC West Co-Player of the Week with
Jessica Lemieux. Nicole Steinbach leads the Cardinals pitching staff with a 3.55 ERA after pitching 183.1 innings. She has recorded three shutouts, one save and 139 strikeouts.

Last week, seniors
Marla Gooding and
Jessica Lemieux were named the MAC West Pitcher and Co-Player of the Week, respectively. This was the second-consecutive week the pair have been honored with these awards. Gooding is riding an eight-game winning streak, resulting from 49 innings pitched for a 1.43 ERA. Lemieux went 8-for-16 for a .444 average to go with a home run, two doubles, five RBI and five runs scored. She is currently on a season-best 11-game hitting streak and 12-game reached-base streak.Â
