The Toledo track & field program wrapped up the weekend of the competition at the Virginia Challenge on the campus of the University of Virginia, the Jesse Owens Classic on the campus of Ohio State University and the Al Owens Classic on the campus of Grand Valley State University.
 
VIRGINIA CHALLENGE
 
Senior Brooke Tullis ran the 5,000m at the Virginia Challenge with a time of 16:35.55. The time bested the Mid-American Conference qualifying time by 37 seconds and she now holds the third-best time in the conference so far this season.

Yesterday at the Virginia Challenge, Senior Liz Weiler ran the 3000m steeplechase at the Virginia Open. Weiler finished fifth with a time of 10:10.89. The mark was her fastest of the season, and currently is the fastest in the Mid-American Conference. Weiler also currently sits in ninth in the NCAA East region.
 
AL OWENS CLASSIC
 
Junior Maja Pacaric picked up a victory for the Rockets with a time of 4:32.25 in the 1,500m. Pacaric set a personal best by over seven seconds and missed the MAC auto qualification mark by .05 seconds.
 
Freshman Nautica Hill ran a personal best in the 400m with a time of 57.46.
 
Two freshman throwers set personal bests. Freshman Anna Bellman set a PR in the discus with a toss of 42.88m, and freshman Sally Frank set a PR in the shot put with a 12.04m toss.

Yesterday at the Al Owens Classic, Toledo earned two top-five finishes on day one of the Al Owens Classic. Junior Ty'Shai Freeman finished third in the triple jump with an 11.55m jump, while freshman Deja Martin finished fifth with a 11.02m mark.
 
Bellman earned a personal best in the hammer throw with a 44.40m toss en route to a 12th place finish.
 
JESSE OWENS CLASSIC
 
Senior Kyesha Neal won the open division of the Jesse Owens Classic with a 14.72m toss.
 
Yesterday at the Jesse Owens Classic, Neal picked up the only Rocket victory of the day with a huge personal best in the discus with a toss of 49.55m. The throw bested the MAC Championships qualifying mark by 2.78m and she now sits second in the conference. Neal also currently holds the best toss in school history and sits with the 29th best throw in the NCAA East Region.
 
Freshman Jennifer Lichter also picked up a personal best in the 5,000m with a time of 16:48.35, earning her a fourth place finish in the showcase event. Lichter now sits sixth in the MAC in the 5,000m and earned an automatic qualification to the MAC Championships. She also earned a spot in the school record book with the 10th fastest 5,000m time in school history.
 
Sophomore Stephanie Barlow finished fifth in the 3,000m steeplechase with a time of 10:58.53. Barlow bested her previous time by four seconds and now sits in tenth in school history.
