Geneva, OH – The Toledo track & field program continued the season at the SPIRE NCAA DI Indoor T&F Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 13.
 
Senior Julia Pusateri picked up a Mid-American Conference Automatic Qualifying time in the mile with a time of 4:50.84 en route to a second place finish.  Olivia Chinn also took home a personal best time of 4:58.79 in the same event.
 
Freshman Jennifer Lichter beat her previous PR by 10 seconds in the 3000m with a time of 9:52.57, and just missed the MAC auto mark by .26 seconds.  Lichter's run was good for 13^th best in the conference this season.  Sophomore Stephanie Barlow also hit a PR with a 9:59.32.
 
Senior Kyesha Neal hit a PR in the shot put at 14.87m, the eighth best throw in the MAC this season.
 
Yesterday, sophomore Joan Jepkirui finished 10th in the 5000m with a time of 16:56.46 and senior Brooke Tullis finished 12th with a time of 16:58.50. Jepkirui and Tullis both bested the Mid-American Conference Automatic Qualifying time of 17:16.23. Jepkirui's time was the fastest 5000m by a UT runner this year, and places her fifth in the MAC overall.  Tullis' time puts her at seventh overall.
 
Toledo will finish the indoor season at the MAC Championships in Akron, OH on Feb. 25-26.
