Toledo Hosting Detroit Mercy on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.

QUICK HITTERS
•    Toledo (3-5) hosts a second straight Horizon League foe when it entertains Detroit (1-7) on Wednesday, Dec. 7 in Savage Arena. Tip-off time is set for 7:00 p.m. with the game being streamed live on ESPN3.
•    The Rockets have already played four overtime games this season, including Saturday evening's 78-77 (OT) setback at home to Green Bay. Toledo let an opportunity to win the game at the end of regulation slip away when it missed two of four free throws and committed three turnovers in the final two minutes.
•    Senior forward Steve Taylor Jr. led the Rockets by tying his career high with 22 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and also matching his career best with five assists in 37 minutes.
•    Senior guard Jonathan Williams is leading the Rockets with 16.6 ppg, with Taylor averaging 16.4 ppg, a MAC-best 12.3 rpg and a team-high 4.3 apg.
•    Taylor ranks fourth nationally with 12.3 rpg (through Dec. 3) and leads the country with 10.6 defensive rebounds per contest. Taylor's six double-doubles this season also are tied for first in the MAC with EMU's James Thompson IV.
•    Sophomore guard Jaelan Sanford is also scoring in double digits for the Rockets with 12.4 ppg, including 13 points vs. Green Bay for his fourth double-figure outing of the season.
•    UT's four overtime games this season are the most in the nation with Eastern Washington, Florida International and Seattle having played three contests requiring at least an additional five minutes.
•    Head Coach Tod Kowalczyk is in his seventh season at UT and has orchestrated a dramatic turnaround since his arrival in 2010. He has guided the Midnight Blue and Gold to a 101-70 (.591) win-loss mark over the last six years, including back-to-back 20-win campaigns in 2013-14 and 2014-15.
•    Toledo played just one home game in the month of November. The Rockets were on the road for six of seven games in November and will play seven of their next eight contests in Savage Arena.
•    Detroit is winless in five road games this season with its lone victory coming in its season opener vs. Adrian College (99-69).
•    The Titans have four players scoring in double digits with sophomore guard Josh McFolley and junior forward Jaleel Hogan tied for the team lead with 13.3 ppg. Senior forward Chris Jenkins is averaging 11.3 ppg with a team-best 6.0 rpg.
