BOWLING GREEN, OH - The Toledo women's track and field program headed back to Bowling Green to compete at the Tom Wright Classic on Friday, Jan. 22.

UT competed against Mid-American Conference foe Bowling Green and A-10 member Dayton.

The Rockets complied nine top-three finishes during the meet. Senior Kyesha Neal led the Rockets with two personal bests. Neal finished third in the shot put with a PR of 14.72m, besting the MAC automatic qualifier by .18m. Her season-high throw also puts her with the seventh-best throw in the conference this season. Neal also threw a personal best 15.92m in the weight throw, good for fifth in the event.

Junior Madeline Pacella finished second in the long jump with a personal best 5.29m. Pacella also finished third in the high jump with a 1.65m jump, good for third in the conference and coming up just short of her personal-best of 1.69m. Freshman Kailsi Latta-Thompson also hit a PR in the long jump with a 5.16m jump, good for third place in the event.

Toledo was the only team to compete in the pole vault event. Junior Alexandra Domoras won the event with a jump of 3.35m. Junior Hannah Saba finished second with a 3.20m jump.

The Rockets finished third in the team scoring with 29 points.  BG took home the trophy with a score of 88.  

UT is back in action next weekend on Friday, Jan. 29 at the Spire Midwest Open in Geneva, OH.
