Toledo (4-2) returns home from a 10-day, four-game road trip when it hosts Cleveland State (2-4) tonight in Savage Arena. Tip-off time is set for 7:00 p.m. with the contest being streamed on ESPN3.
The matchup with the Vikings is the first of four consecutive meetings against Horizon League opponents for the Rockets. UT already has one victory over a Horizon League member with a 100-78 road win at Youngstown State (Nov. 18). UT has won its last two meetings vs. the Vikings after dropping four in a row in the series. The Rockets notched a 71-67 victory in Savage Arena on Dec. 21, 2013 as well as a 59-54 triumph at the Wolstein Center on Dec. 3, 2014.
Toledo registered a runner-up finish at last week's Great Alaska Shootout with wins over San Jose State and Loyola (IL) before dropping a 78-70 decision to Middle Tennessee in the championship game. Senior
