TOLEDO, OH – Toledo fell 3-2 to Eastern Michigan on Saturday in its final match of the season. The Rockets finish their 2015 campaign at 6-23 (3-13 MAC), while EMU improves to 14-15 (6-10 MAC). The victory coupled with CMU's last at Ball State tonight put the Eagles into the 2015 Mid-American Conference Tournament

Maddie Strall tallied a career-high 19 digs. Sophomore DS

Maggie Johnston added 12.
Both team were evenly matched in Set 1 and tied the score 10 times. Toledo took a timeout when it was down 23-22. UT scored the next three points coming out of the break to win the set 25-23.
Rachel Vidourek was the top scorer of the set with seven kills and an impressive .667 ATK%.

Eastern Michigan did not trail in the second set and defeated the Rockets 25-19. The Eagles posted a .255 hitting mark, while holding UT to a .163 ATK%.

The third set was nearly identical to the second. The Eagles won the set 25-19 with a .324 hitting percentage.

Eastern Michigan beat themselves in the fourth set, posting a negative attack percentage and 13 attack errors. Toledo led the entire set and beat the Eagles 25-21.

Toledo fell behind 10-5 at the start of the fifth set but scored four straight points to tie the set at 12-12. The Rockets pushed the set into extra points, but they were unable to pull away with a victory in the final rally. Eastern Michigan took the set 17-15.
