Senior RB Jalen Parmele carried the ball 20 times for a season-high 130 yards and one TD. It is Parmele's first 100-yard effort this season and sixth of his career.

Junior WR Nick Moore finished with four catches for a career-high 110 yards, including a 28-yard TD catch in the second quarter. Moore's previous career high was 101 yards receiving at Central Michigan on Oct. 29, 2005.

Sophomore QB Aaron Opelt competed 2-of-9 passes for 46 yards and one TD. Opelt also ran the ball twice for 36 yards, including a 28-yard gain. He left the contest in the second quarter with an injury and did not return.

Junior QB Clint Cochran entered the game for the injured Opelt in the second quarter and finished 7-of-12 passing and 112 yards. Cochran also tallied a three-yard TD run in the second period. It was Cochran's second-career rushing score. He had a one-yard TD plunge at Iowa State on Aug. 31, 2006. Cochran left the game in the fourth quarter with an injury and did not return.

Freshmen QB D.J. Lenehan replaced Cochran in the fourth quarter. Lenehan was 0-of-2 passing but did the Rockets to a touchdown on an 80-yard drive late in the game.

Lenehan and freshman DL Marlin Parker each saw their first collegiate action tonight, making a total of 41 freshmen and sophomores who have played for the Rockets this season.

Sophomore SS Barry Church led the Rockets with a game-high 13 tackles and also recorded his first interception of the season and fifth of his career. Church has now recorded double-digit tackles in the last two games.

Senior rover Greg Hay finished with 12 tackles, including a team-high two tackles-for-loss and one forced fumble. Hay finished one stop short of his career-best effort of 13 tackles against Central Michigan on Sept. 8, 2007.

He replaced sophomore Kevin Kilgo at left guard, who had started the first four games. A total of nine different players have started at-least one game on the offensive line. Only senior LT John Greco has started every contest.

Senior WR Andrew Hawkins was credited with a 15-yard TD run in the fourth quarter for his first career rushing score.
