"It was a good win in a hostile environment and we did a good job of hanging in there. We knew that it was going to be a dogfight and on the road we usually don't force as many turnovers with our pressure. We force five turnovers in overtime and that was the difference."

(on being able to force WMU into turnovers)

"We're a small team and we have to play fast and quick. If we don't play hard we're very average. We have to use our athletic ability as much as we can."

(on getting 16 offensive rebounds)

"We just went to the boards hard and usually our guys don't. I think that can be an offensive weapon that we can take advantage of."

(on Jonathan Amos' play in the second half and overtime)

"He was being the type of player he can be. His strengths are slashing to the basket, crashing the boards, playing good defense and giving us energy. He hasn't done that lately but when he does he gives us another weapon."

(on Florentino Valencia's matchup with Joe Reitz)

"We wanted to make sure he (Reitz) had to work on both ends of the floor. He can carry them and he just wears on you with his size. We wanted Tino to play quick and athletic."

Senior forward Keonta Howell

(on winning at WMU for the first time in his career)

"It feels real good since we haven't won here before and usually they have spanked us. They play tough at home and for us to pull it out in overtime is great. It tells you something about our team that we can come back from 10 points down and win."

(on being to win on the road during conference play)

"Our goal this year was to win all of our home games and the majority of our road games. It's a big bonus for us that we're 6-2 especially in this conference. We're very proud of that and we're going to take the momentum from this game into our final two home games."

(on Justin Ingram hitting free throws at end of game despite not having a good shooting game)

"Justin could be 0-for-20 from the field and if he goes to the free-throw line we aren't even worried. He's not going to get down on himself when his shot isn't falling and he's going to keep playing hard. Even though he had only eight points he still had a good game with eight rebounds and six assists."
