* Toledo's senior class lost for the first time in four match-ups against its arch-rivals.
* Toledo, which entered today's game second in the MAC in time of possession (31:20), was limited to 25:07, including 0:57 in the opening quarter.
* On Bowling Green's first drive, redshirt freshman Greg Harris caused a fumble inside the one-yard line, which was recovered by redshirt freshman Alex Johnson. It was Harris' first career forced fumble and Johnson's first career fumble recovered.
* Senior WR Andrew Hawkins had a career-long 35-yard kickoff return at the end of the first quarter. Hawkins' previous long was a 30-yard effort at Kansas on Sept. 15.
* Sophomore PK Alex Steigerwald booted a 21-yard field goal in the second quarter and is a perfect 13-of-13 for the season and 20-of-21 in his career. Steigerwald ranks first in school history, converting 95.2 percent of his field-goal attempts with a minimum of 10 field-goals made.
* Freshman QB D. J. Lenehan made his third start of the season and completed 6-of-11 passes for 54 yards.
* Junior QB Clint Cochran entered the game in the second quarter and finished 15-of-29 for 202 yards and one TD.
* Sophomore WR Stephen Williams caught six passes for 78 yards. Williams finishes the season with 73 catches for 1,169 yards and seven TDs. His catch total is sixth-most in a single season in school history, while his receiving yards is the third-most and TD-total is tied for the 10th most.
* Junior WR Nick Moore caught 11 passes for 141 yards, including hauling in his team-best eighth TD reception which covered 36 yards in the third quarter. Moore finishes the season with 60 catches for 731 yards and eight TDs. His TD total is tied for fifth in school history in a single season. Today also marked Moore's fourth career game with at least 100 yards receiving.
* Senior RB Jalen Parmele carried the ball 19 times for 82 yards, snapping his string of seven-consecutive games with at least 100 yards rushing. Parmele ends the season with 276 rushes (fifth most) for 1,511 yards (fourth most overall, third most for a senior) and 14 rushing TDs. He ends his career with 589 carries (seventh most) for 3,119 yards (fourth most) and 28 TDs.
* Sophomore FS Lester Richmond finished with a team-high 11 tackles. It was Richmond's second game this season with double digit tackles. He had a career-high 12 tackles at Buffalo on Oct. 13.
* Toledo finished the season with 18 scoring drives (11 TD's, 7 FG's) of at least 10 plays.
