* Toledo scored a season-high 70 points and finished with 812 yards of total offense. The 812 yards of total offense break a Mid-American Conference record of 733 yards set by Marshall vs. Buffalo in 2002.

 

UT's 812 yards of total offense is a school record, while the 70 points are the third-most in school history and the most against a MAC opponent.

 

* UT's total offensive explosion is also the most in the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision this season, valid through Oct. 20. The previous high was 748 yards by Houston on Oct. 13.   

 

* With tonight's victory, the Rockets improved to 42-6 in the last 48 games in the Glass Bowl. The streak goes back to the middle of the 1999 season. Since 2003, the Rockets are 23-5 in the Glass Bowl, tied for the 16th-best mark in the Football Bowl Subdivision.

 

* Toledo scored 10 touchdowns, second-most in school history, and finished with a season-high five drives that covered at least 80 yards.

 

* UT scored a season-high 42 points in the first half, besting its previous high of 21 points at Central Michigan on Sept. 8. The Rockets' 42 points is tied for the third-most in school history for points in a half and the most since Toledo also posted 42 points against Eastern Michigan on Oct. 11, 2003.

 

* Sophomore Aaron Opelt completed 22-of-28 passes for a career-high 387 yards and four touchdowns in three quarters of work. Opelt's previous career high for yards passing was 334 against Central Michigan on Sept. 8, 2007 and three TD passes also versus the Chippewas on Oct. 6, 2006.

 

* Junior WR Nick Moore hauled in a season-high seven passes for a career-high 145 yards and tied a school record with three TD's. The last UT player to have three TD receptions in a single game was Chris Hopkins at Iowa State on Aug. 31, 2006.

 

* Since returning from injury the last two games, Moore has 13 catches for 208 yards and four TD catches.

 

* Senior RB Jalen Parmele carried the ball 16 times for 106 yards and one touchdown, including a season-long 54-yard scamper in the second quarter.

 

* It was Parmele's fifth-consecutive game over 100 yards, tied for the second-longest streak of 100-yard games in school history, and 10th of his career, which is tied for sixth in UT annals.

 

* Through nine games this season, Parmele now has 1,138 yards rushing, 11th most in school history for a single season. 

 

* With tonight's effort, Parmele moved into fourth place in school history in career yards rushing with 2,746 yards and still 10th in rushing attempts with 524.

 

* Sophomore RB DaJuane Collins topped the century mark for the second time this season and tallied a career-high 132 yards on 15 carries, including a two-yard TD plunge in the third quarter.

 

* Sophomore WR Stephen Williams caught five passes for 83 yards, including a five-yard TD reception in the first quarter. In nine games this season, Williams has a team-high 806 yards receiving, eighth-most in UT history in a single season.

 

* Sophomore PK Alex Steigerwald tied a school record with 10 extra points. Robert Carson also booted 10 extra points against Davis & Elkins on Sept. 15, 1951.

 

* Toledo finished with 35 first downs, tied for second-most in school history in a single game, and only one behind the record vs. Western Michigan on Oct. 9, 2004.

 

* Senior P Brett Kern punted the ball only one time for 46 yards and also carried the ball once in the opening quarter for 50 yards.

 

* Freshman Gordon Warner carried the ball nine times for 29 yards and scored three touchdowns, covering nine yards in the second quarter, two yards in the third and 11 yards in the fourth.

 

* Junior LB Keith Forestal led the Rockets with a season-high eight tackles.

 

* A total of 10 different Rockets caught a pass with four players catching at least three passes.

 

*Toledo finished the contest an impressive 8-of-11 on third conversions, 2-of-2 on fourth downs and 6-of-7 in red-zone scoring chances.
