* Head Coach Stan Joplin moved into ninth place on the MAC's all-time win list with tonight's victory and now holds a 152-111 career win-loss record. He also moved into 10th place in the MAC for conference wins only with 90. Joplin's .578 winning percentage ranks 10th in conference history for coaches who have spent five or more years in the league.
* Joplin is now 12-5 vs. NIU in his career and 5-3 in head-to-head meetings with the Huskies' mentor Rob Judson.
* The Rockets now have won 10 or more MAC games for the seventh time in the last eight seasons with Kent State the only other conference school to do so.
* Toledo's 10 three-point field goals tied a season high.
* The Rockets shot 51.8 percent from the field and have a 49.8 FG% and a 40.7 three-point FG% in their last six contests.
* Toledo registered 19 assists and nine turnovers with just one of those miscues coming in the second half and overtime. UT has a 1.01 assist/turnover ratio this season for the best mark in Head Coach Stan Joplin's tenure.

* Junior guard Sammy Villegas registered season highs in points (23) and minutes (37) and also tied his season high with five rebounds. Villegas also equaled his career high with six three-point field goals.
* Sophomore forward Florentino Valencia tallied a career-high 19 points and equaled his career high with eight field goal. A Chicago native, Valencia is averaging 13.3 ppg with a 75.0 FG (24-of-32) in four career games vs. the Huskies.
* Sophomore guard Justin Ingram scored in double figures for the ninth time in the last 10 games. During this time, he is averaging 12.1 ppg with a 50.6 FG% and a 50.0 three-point FG%.
