Team Notes:

* The Rockets lost their first game this season when allowing less than 70 points, outshooting an opponent (47.5 - 42.0), holding an opponent to under 45 percent shooting from the field and shooting over 45 percent from the field.

* Toledo lost its second game in a row at Millett Hall and is now 9-5 in its last 14 meetings vs. the RedHawks.

* UT committed a season-low 15 personal fouls in the contest and Miami's 15 personal fouls were also a season low by an opponent.

Player Notes:

* Senior guard Keith Triplett led the Rockets in scoring for the 17th time in 20 games this year. He also moved past Keith Wade (1987-91) into 23rd place on UT's all-time scoring list with 1,163 points. Triplett also moved into a fourth-place tie with Jay Gast (1981-85) for most career steals with 167.

* Sophomore guard Sammy Villegas extended his streak of making a three-point field goal to 46 games and has scored in double figures in 18 of 20 games this season.

* Freshman guard Justin Ingram was held scoreless for the first time this season.

* Senior forward Ricardo Thomas grabbed a team-high seven rebounds and dished out a season-high three assists while playing a season-high 22 minutes.
