"We just took some quick shots in overtime when we had a lead and it was probably my fault. We got an offensive rebound and put it right back up and we shot another quick shot. I should have said something to the guys about working the clock when that happens. It was just an ill-advised time to take a shot. We had our chances but we just didn't make the plays. It came down to them making plays down the stretch. The table was set for us but we just couldn't close it out."

(on how Keith Triplett was affected by wearing the mask to protect his broken nose)

"I think it affected him a little bit. It was a little bit of a nuisance with the gym being kind of hot caused a few problems for him. We just didn't make the plays we needed to down the stretch."

(on the team's defense in the second half and overtime)

"We played pretty good defensively but we went for steals a little too much and got out of position and they took advantage of it. I think if we would have just played solid defense we would have been in great shape."

(on getting only two shots in the second half after scoring 14 points in the first half)

I got in foul trouble and I had to sit on the bench for a while. I came out a little bit cold and I couldn't get back in the rhythm."
