1. You are one of the oldest and most experienced players on the team. Do you like having the big sister role and helping your younger teammates?

I love it. It is a challenge, but to see the girls do well and watch them improve is great. Being older, the girls kind of look up to me and look to me for advice and I feel good whenever I can help them.

2. You played for the Bolivian national team. Can you talk about that a little?

It is an honor and such a great feeling to represent your country playing the sport you love. I was able to meet all kinds of nice people, play great competition and travel all around South America. It was a great experience.

3. What is the biggest difference from living in Bolivia and America?

The culture. It was difficult in the beginning when I first arrived here in the U.S. It was such a culture shock, but you get used to it.

4. You have tendonitis in your wrist. Are you upset that it is limiting your play to just doubles matches?

Yes I am upset, because it is a pain to deal with. It upsets me that I can't help my team but I am doing everything I can to get 100 percent again. It is very frustrating, you want to play and give it your all but your body won't let you.

5. You are a senior academically but in terms of eligibility you are a junior. Were you redshirted due to an injury?

Yes, when I transferred to Toledo I suffered an ACL injury that kept me from playing tennis for one year. From the tennis prospective I wasn't happy, but academically it worked out because in my five years here at UT I will have my bachelor's and master's degree.
