1. Why did you choose the University of Toledo?
I wanted to come to the United States to study. When I finished school in Slovakia, I had to study English for two years. After my two years of English, I started sending e-mails to the swim coaches in the U.S. and I got responses but Toledo was the right choice for me.
2. What do you like about the University of Toledo?
I like the campus. When I came here I was surprised. I had no idea that it was this nice. I also liked the engineering program and that's what I'm majoring in.
3. What do you want to do with your degree when you leave UT?
When I came here I wanted to major in pre-med, but I realized if I wasn't able to get into medical school I couldn't do much with my degree so I am also majoring in bioengineering. So when I graduate I will go to grad school for bioengineering if I don't get into medical school
4. What is the biggest difference from Slovakia and Toledo?
The people are very different over here. When I came here everyone looked so nice. Life is very different here compared to where I come from.
