Radford, VA - The University of Toledo men's tennis team was defeated by Radford, 5-2, this afternoon at the Dedmon Center Courts. With the loss the Rockets fall to 0-2 on the outdoor season.

At the No. 2 doubles spot, senior Dipesh Rao and feshman Freddy Gomez defeated Radford's Andre Cavaco and Arthur Vasarevic, 8-5. UT did not receive a point, as a team must win at least two matches to claim the doubles point.

In singles action, sophomore Khalid Al Nabhani defeated Joakim Arhammar at the No. 2 singles spot (6-2, 3-6, 6-2), while fellow sophomore Mirsad Begic downed Dominic Soeur (4-6, 5-3, retired- injury) at the No. 5 singles spot.

The Rockets will host Cleveland State next Sunday, Mar. 23 at the Toledo tennis courts with action starting at 10:00 a.m.
