KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Toledo men's tennis team wrapped up competition at the Mid-American Conference Indoor Championships on Sunday in Kalamazoo, Mich.

Freshman AJ Sidoti picked up his first wins over conference opponents, earning a straight set victory over Ball State's Anthony Shalakov en route to reaching the F Flight Championship match before falling to UIC's Victor Dorojan.

The conference's 12 best singles players competed in the A Flight. Junior Poonthong Komolpisut and senior Hanamichi Carvajal represented the Rockets in the draw. Komolpisut reached the semifinals, picking up a win over Ball State's Andrei Caragea before dropping to NIU's Nikola Puntaric. Carvajal earned a win over NIU's Lonrezo Leti Messina before falling to Western Michigan's Ashton Adesoro in straight sets.

Matias Olivero and Lucas Britez picked up singles wins in the B Flight. Alejandro Gonzalez earned a straight set win in the C Flight while Cole Cozens tallied a straight set victory in the D flight.

In doubles competition, Komolpisut and Carvajal reached the A Flight semifinals match after taking down WMU's Ashton Adesoro/Jack Davison and Buffalo's Theodore Mitsakos/Clement Mainguy before falling to NIU's Nikola Puntaric/Iker Gaztambide Arrastia.
