Toledo, OH - The University of Toledo men's tennis team was defeated by Butler, 6-1, this afternoon at the Laurel Hill Tennis Club. This marked the last home match of the indoor season for the Rockets.

In No. 1 doubles action, the duo of sophomores Tony Tran and Khalid Al Nabhani defeated Butler's the 35th-ranked doubles duo of Kevin and Brandon Gill, 8-6. Senior Dipesh Rao and sophomore Todd Wojtkowski downed Andy Bartish and Peter Voelz (9-8) to give UT the doubles point.

In singles action, the Bulldogs swept all six singles sets en route to earning the 6-1 victory.

"Butler played very well today in singles," Toledo Head Men's Tennis Coach Al Wermer said. "I thought that Tony and Khalid played good against the nationally-ranked Gill brothers."

The Rockets will travel to State College, PA on Saturday, Mar. 1 to battle Penn State in non-conference action starting at 2:00 p.m.
