* Toledo's win over Ohio was its third straight over the Bobcats and its fourth win in their last five meetings. UT also has won two straight games at The Convo after losing 19 straight from 1981-99.

* The Rockets have now won four consecutive MAC openers in a row.

* Toledo has won its first two road games of a season for the first time since the 1998-99 campaign.

* Head Coach Stan Joplin is now 7-4 in his career vs. Ohio and improved his overall record to 120-88 (.577) which ranks 11th in MAC history for winning percentage.
