"I thought we made more mistakes than usual but BG played well and was a little better than us tonight," UT Head Coach Kent Miller said. "We did some good things out there but we didn't put together enough long stretches of good play to win. I thought we improved in several areas thoughout the match and we'll look to carry that over into Sunday's match vs. Northern Illinois."

The Rockets restored their cushion to three points immediately and their lead didn't fall below two points for the rest of the game.
Toledo started strong in the fourth game and led 12-8, however, the Falcons tied the game at 14-14. The teams then stayed within three points of each other before BGSU pulled away for a five-point victory.
