Toledo, OH - Toledo (7-12, 3-4 MAC) cruised to a 3-0 (30-23, 30-19, 31-29) triumph over Buffalo (7-12, 3-4 MAC) this afternoon at Savage Hall thanks to a season-high .413 team attack percentage. Sophomore middle blocker Kelsey Culver led the Rockets individually with a .632 ATK%, the second highest hitting mark she has registered in her UT career.

Five Rockets reached double figures in points in the match led by junior outside hitter Rachel Mohler with 18 points thanks to a team-high 15 kills, two aces, and one block solo. Rounding out the rest of the UT players in double figures were freshman outside hitter Kate Bean with 15 points (11 kills, three aces and two block assists), Culver with 13 points (12 kills and two block assists), sophomore middle blocker Corrie Magnus with 10 points (eight kills and four block assists) and sophomore right-side hitter Chelsey Poquette with 10 points (seven kills and three aces).

Freshman libero Lora Sarich led the Rockets on the defensive end with 11 digs, while Magnus and senior setter Carrie McCaw each notched a team-high four total blocks. McCaw also notched 43 assists while running UT's offense.

"It was good for us to win this match in three games following last night's emotional victory," UT Head Coach Kent Miller said. "We came out and played focused and didn't let Buffalo get untracked. Our effectiveness on offense was really nice to see and hopefully we can carry our momentum from this weekend's matches into next week."

Toledo registered a .300 attack percentage or higher in each game with a .500 mark in the first game, a .469 mark in the second game and a .302 mark in the third game.

The Rockets return to action on Friday, Oct. 17 with a trip down I-75 to battle arch-rival Bowling Green at Anderson Arena. UT will be looking to avenge a five-match setback it suffered to the Falcons at Savage Hall on Oct. 1.
